Building Capacity for Excellence

Investing in Our Educators

At LGS JTI Junior Girls, we believe that exceptional learning begins with exceptional teachers.
As part of our commitment to developing a strong and sustainable IB Primary Years Programme, we have invested extensively in professional learning for our leadership team, coordinators, teachers and specialist staff.

Through both online and face-to-face IB workshops, our educators continue to deepen their understanding of inquiry-based learning, student agency, assessment, international-mindedness and the IB Standards and Practices.

This ongoing professional learning ensures that IB principles are embedded across our school culture and reflected in everyday teaching and learning experiences.

Because Training and Certification Matter

Our investment in professional learning reflects a deliberate commitment to deepening understanding of IB philosophy, inquiry-based learning, student agency, assessment, wellbeing and international-mindedness across the School. Building Capacity Across the School: Our commitment extends beyond classroom teachers. Academic teams, leadership, administration and other educational staff are developed together, recognising that a strong IB learning community depends upon shared understanding, shared language and shared responsibility.

Professional Learning as a Culture

For us, professional development is not a one-time requirement. It is part of an ongoing culture of reflection, collaboration, inquiry and continuous improvement. By investing in our educators, we strengthen classroom practice, build collective capacity and ensure that the principles of an IB education are understood, embedded and lived across our learning community. Because, exceptional learning for children begins with exceptional learning for educators.
